Mission and History
In 2014 Swiss cultural manager Roger Cahn had the idea of creating a multi-annual program for young and internationally promising classical music soloists and chamber music ensembles in order to boost their careers through developing their personal resources and passing on crucial knowledge and know-how.
Program
The Career Advancement Program focuses on factors that largely contribute to proceeding an international career: Self-management, entrepreneurial thinking, networking, public relations and social media, branding, legal issues, concert formats, self-presentation, health aspects and many others topics. Furthermore financial support for the realisation of various artistic projects connected to both the artist’s career and contents of the Career Advancement Program will be provided.
Facilitators and Participants
The Career Advancement Program’s facililtators consist of internationally accomplished personalities in their fields, be it music management, public relations, law, and many others. They support, lecture and guide the beneficiaries throughout the duration of their participation in the Career Advancement Program.
The program focuses on supporting young soloists and chamber music ensembles who already perform internationally.
Benefactor
Gunther Caspar personality was characterized by great courage, uncompromising honesty, a deep feeling for fairness and great patience. His foundation Günter Caspar-Stiftung developed the Career Advancement Program among other projects.
